Booking Through Thursday asks questions today regarding--what else but--books. Here are my answers.
Do you give books as gifts? Yes.
To everyone? No. Or only to select people? Yes.
How do you feel about receiving books as gifts? I would love it, but nobody ever did. What I would like more, though, is a bookstore gift certificate so I can choose which book to get.
What can I say? I love books. Just this week alone, I’ve both several, both online and in-store.
Yesterday, I bought The Everything Cat Book by Davis. I’ve used it as a reference in the pet store as a guide to the basic supplies I needed to get for my family’s new cat, Tiger.
I returned it to the shelf after I gathered some 150 dollars’ worth of supplies because I did not really plan to buy it. But what the heck, I love books. I can purchase another one this week. Maybe it’ll help me accept this new feline into our new home with more open arms.
See, I’m a dog lover. I’m not known as a cat lover. Maybe, if I learn more on how to care of a cat then this kitten, Tiger, will hook me with his charms. My family’s crazy about him already. We just got him yesterday from a generous breeder.
Tiger is our second cat. Our first we had to let go. I’ll write more about the story later. But for now, I’ll read my new cat book. It's only one among my other new but non-cat books. I love books so much that if someone gives me another cat book, I’ll read it too.

I hope this new member of your household gains a special place in your heart. That cat book sounds like a keeper.
I love cats and like dogs... Anyway, books are always a good thing.
Welcome to Booking through Thursday. Congratulations on the new cat and have fun. My 3 are currently trying to decimate the christmas tree. As for books, I love giving and receiving. More, more, more is my motto.
